Who's behind it

BTV Tools is built by BallTongue, @balltongue_o on PC EU. Also co-author of the U50 Zenkosh guide alongside Geldis.

Why this exists

BTV Tools exists because I wanted these tools for myself. I play The Elder Scrolls Online, and the questions that came up after every trial run were always the same ones: did we hold that buff, am I over the crit cap, is my penetration wasted, does this group comp actually cover everything.

Answering those meant squinting at logs, doing maths in a spreadsheet, or trusting a forum post from three patches ago. So I built the thing I wanted to use instead. Every tool here started as a problem I had, which is also why it's free and why it keeps growing whenever the game gives me a new one.

What's here

• Log Analyser : Paste an ESO Logs report and get group buff and debuff uptimes, critical and penetration breakdowns, per-player details, and roster checks. Downtime exclusion recalculates uptimes using only the periods the boss was actually killable.
• Calculators : Crit damage, crit chance, penetration, and resistance. Tick the buffs, sets, passives, and champion points your build runs and see where you land against the cap.
• Roster Builder : Plan a trial group, check the buff and debuff coverage it provides, and share the result with your team.
• Player Meta : What the top parses on a given boss are actually running, drawn from real logs rather than opinion.
• Database : Gear sets and their bonuses, searchable, with the ability IDs behind them.
